What is Battle of the Strands?

First and foremost Battle of the Strands (BOTS) is a hair, makeup, nails and wardrobe competition. BOTS showcases original avant garde looks from salon teams before a panel of industry icon judges. Now in it’s fourth season, we are welcoming teams from Asia and Europe. The 2013 season consisted of 6 qualifying rounds; NYC, Orlando, Las Vegas, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and an online voting qualifier. October welcomed the semifinals in Vegas, with the final that happened on October 14th. The 2014 Battle promises to be BIGGER, BOLDER and LOUDER. With an exciting Student Battle among Teams from US & international Cosmetology Schools matched with more Salons from more Countries joining the arena, you are in for a treat you will never expect!
